PAUSE Interior is a Swedish interior design brand focusing on natural materials, timeless design, and sustainable production. Our collections combine modern shape with classic elegance – created for homes that feel calm, harmonious, and welcoming. Our first collection is a series of rattan products handcrafted by women in Vietnam – a country with a rich and robust craft tradition where every detail receives the time and care it deserves. We work with suppliers we have personally visited and are confident that the production is sustainable for both people and the environment.
Crafts with history
Each product is carefully handcrafted by skilled artisans from a traditional craft village outside Hanoi in Vietnam, where the art of basket weaving has been passed down through generations. In the village, the craft has been carried on for generations by women, with knowledge and techniques passed from mothers to daughters.
With patience and precision, our artisans shape natural rattan using techniques they learned from their parents and grandparents. Every curve, weave, and detail embodies genuine craftsmanship and reflects a life close to nature, community, and tradition.
